About the author
Stina Almroth grew up in Södertälje, a town near Stockholm.
She graduated from the University of Uppsala, Sweden and received her PhD in international nutrition and anthropology from Cornell University, USA. She has worked on maternal and child health, as well as mental health issues in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
During her years in New Delhi she started an Argentine Tango scene that is still vibrant. Friends around the globe know Stina as the one who bakes the best cinnamon buns, generously shares her recipes, and hosts memorable fika get-togethers.
