2020 Winner in Ceremonial Meal Category -- Academy of Culinary Arts and Meal Sciences

Fika: Made in Sweden, was the winner in the Ceremonial Meal Category in the 2020 competition of the Academy of Culinary Arts and Meal Sciences, Sweden.

The jury’s motivation read: “The book draws attention to a uniquely Swedish phenomenon, fika. The current Swedish government was formed with the help of fika and cookies, and it is at the fika table in Swedish workplaces that many problems are solved. Beautiful photos of typical fika pastries, from semla to prinsesstårta, increase reader’s appetite.”
