THE FIKA ACADEMY HOLDS ITS FIRST ANNUAL MEETING AND CELEBRATES ITS FIRST ANNIVERSARY

On June 2, the Fika Academy held its first annual meeting and celebrated its first anniversary at Chokladfabriken, Ellinor Isaksson's chocolate and pastry shop, on Södermalm in Stockholm.

We had wished for a traditional Swedish Princess Cake, and that's exactly what we got: a delicious cake decorated with the words "Fikaakademin – 1 år." Ellinor also treated us to a wonderful spread of cinnamon buns, chocolate cookies, and, as the perfect finishing touch, her beautiful handmade chocolate pralines. We felt truly spoiled!

Our newly elected board members are: Brith Fäldt, Carla von Hofsten, Ellinor Isaksson and Neeraj Sharma.

Frida Bäcke stepped down as a board member to join the Expert Council.

In addition, Christina Möller was appointed the Fika Academy's Special Advisor—a title that reflects her many contributions.

It was a successful annual meeting and a wonderful anniversary celebration. With an expanded board and plenty of ideas for future activities and initiatives, we look forward to a promising second year.
